El Dopa’s Journey to Brazil & Live Brazilian Vinyl Mix

By 11 May, 2012

Earlier this year LA DJ El Dopa headed to Brazil to do some serious crate-digging. In a country that thrives on music it shouldn’t be too surprising then that he came back with a truckload of quality vinyl. Best of all, we are able to share a little of this journey with El Dopa (part of the Music Makes A Difference collective that we previously featured on Sounds and Colours) thanks to a live vinyl mix highlighting some of his favourite discoveries and a short homemade video of his trip.

Check out the mix below, followed by video of his journey:

Plus, here’s another great video of El Dopa’s from his trip, footage of a samba jam in a Sao Paulo street that he just happened to stumble across. It really does make you want to pack your bags and get out there!
