Chancha Via Circuito Drops Semillas EP

By - 30 January, 2013

While we were compiling our favourite albums of 2012, drinking one too many sherries and getting ready for much festive frolics, one of our favourite Argentine producers dropped a new release. The Semillas EP is the latest offering from Chancha Via Circuito, and best of all, it’s available as a free download.

Chancha Via Circuito has gained many fans thanks to his mixture of Latin rhythms, prominent beats and knowledge of South American folk music and heritage, resulting in albums – such as 2011′s Rio Arriba – that unite the aura of the Andes and Argentina’s vast landscapes with the sound of the Buenos Aires dancefloor. Semillas EP carries along in much the same vein, offering a few more examples of why Chancha Via Circuito is so widely regarded.

The EP can be downloaded from here and you can also listen to it below:

Other recent releases from ZZK Records include Frikstailers’ Guacha EP and the all-encompassing, bedlam-causing compilation Future Sounds of Buenos Aires.
