After getting everyone all excited with the free screening of Favela on Blast on Pitchfork.tv back at the start of July, the film is now available for purchase. Conceived by Leandro Hbl and Wesley Pentz (aka Diplo) the film tracks the history of baile funk, passing through the homes of some of its originators in Rio, as well as looking internationally at the DJs who have turned the genre into a global phenomenom. The film is currently available as a digital download or as a download/t-shirt package. It can be bought from here.
