It’s All About The Love at Movimientos’ May Day Carnival

By 15 April, 2015

In the name of May Day, the Love Carnival crew will be returning to the Bussey Building on Friday May 1st for what is set to be a killer tropical explosion.

Cocotaxi will be bringing cumbia and dancehall rhythms from Sweden, and will be joined by London’s finest Northeastern Brazilian group Maracatudo Mafua for live carnival vibrations.

The decks are set to be manned by Jukebox Baloo’s Madmax, Movimientos’ Cal Jader and Carnibal Records’ DJ Inko and Larry SKG, combining for a mixture of up-tempo Caribbean flavours, afro-Latin beats, tropical bass, hip-hop, funk and swing.

May Day Love Carnival is presented by Movimientos & Jukebox Baloo. It will be taking place on Friday 1st May from 10pm until 5am at Bussey Building (133 Rye Lane, Peckham Rye, London SE15 4UJ).
