Seu Jorge and Almaz announce European tour

It seems Seu Jorge is everywhere at the moment. At the weekend he was singing in front of almost 15,000 people at Madison Square Garden, the week before he was hanging out with ?uestlove, he’s been the subject of articles discussing the benefits of artists featuring on soundtracks as well as changing Brazilian stereotypes, all the time while touring North American with Almaz in support of their awesome Seu Jorge and Almaz record, released on Now Again Records in August. Now thankfully we will be getting our European fix as the group heads over to Europe for a 15-date tour. Tour details are as follow:

One of the biggest Brazilian events of the last week took place in New York as Ivete Sangalo performed at the Madison Square Garden in New York. Sangalo, who is the biggest star in Brazil right now, at least as far as record sales are concerned, seems intent on breaking into the international market, something which is quite tricky when you only sing in Portuguese.
