Palenke Soultribe feat. Batata “El Makako”

Brand new video from Palenke Soultribe, the Los Angeles-based Colombians with a taste for mixing their Colombian roots with electronic styles. Their upcoming record Palenke vs. Palenque is a collaboration with Palenque Records, a Colombian record label who sent the group original session recordings from their catalogue, featuring the likes of Son Palenque, Petrona Martinez, Sexteto Tabala, and Luis Towers. Palenke Soultribe then re-edited and remixed those original recordings for the new album. This particular track features Batata, legendary percussionist from the village of San Basilio de Palenque.
